If someone you know has been arrested and is currently at the Police station there is a good chance that they may need legal advice and assistance within a short period of time to deal with any issues in relation to the taking of samples, attendance on identification procedures, consent for searches and of course during any interview.

2. Try to give us as much detail as you can.We then make contact with the Police station leaving a message with your friend/loved one so they know a Solicitor is on hand for them as soon as they need one.

Useful details such as:

– Date and location of arrest
– Police Station you believe them to be at
– Name
– Address
– Date of Birth
– Suspected Offence

Don’t worry – if they have their own Solicitor, or would rather a different Solicitor then we no longer get involved but in our experience it is better for someone to know that a Solicitor is on hand if they need one, rather than simply be left to the Duty Solicitor.
